The united resistance to the use of the Island as a shooting range was incredible. Civil Disobedience camps in the 'hot' zone united with all sectors of the society. Footage of guys in little wooden boats in the 1970's attacking the US navy with stones and slingshots. Mass Arrests at Disobedient marches led by the church. The whole nine yards.
