George Bush's Nightmare is Visiting Dublin

category national | miscellaneous | news report author Saturday February 16, 2002 22:09author by irishheadReport this post to the editors

Here's an up to date Biog of Greg Palast who is coming to Dublin on March 7th to take part in a series of free public talks in the National College of Art and Design. Talk is at 6.30pm in the main lecture hall. He was pissed off with the mellow biog used in a previous post and forwarded this. Wow - that means he is checking out IMC.IE - does it?

... and in America they call him
"George Bush's Nightmare"
(Laura Flanders, Pacifica Radio Network)

- Guerilla News Network - 'Reporter of the Year' Award 2001
for his damning exposes of George Bush family finances and his undercover investigations of the World Bank for the BBC and the Guardian.

Award-winning Observer columnist
And now: "Newsnight's own Sam Spade" (Kirsty Wark)

Greg Palast

- George Monbiot, Guardian
"Fucking brilliant, brilliant" - Mark Thomas
"A man with an agenda. Not to be trusted." - Peter Mandelson
"Greg Palast is investigative journalism at it's best. No one has exposed more truth about the Bush Cartel and lived to tell the story." - Baltimore Chronicle
"The information is a hand grenade." - John Pilger
"Like the best muckrackers, he is angry, opinionated and armed with a tireless desire to expose the truth. His stories about Bush's election theft and about intelligence agency cover-ups - backed up with smoking gun documents, inside sources and on-the-record interviews - will shock even the most informed reader." Guerilla News Network

Including… JIM CROW IN CYBERSPACE - The Unreported Story of How The Bushes Fixed the Vote in Florida ... GLOBALIZATION AND ITS DISCONTENTS - A cache of secret documents from inside the IMF ... PAT ROBERTSON, GENERAL PINOCHET, PEPSI-COLA AND THE ANTI-CHRIST - Award-winning investigative reports … CASH-FOR-ACCESS - "LOBBYGATE" - the Real Story of Blair and the Sale of Britain
