So Sorry

category national | miscellaneous | news report author Monday April 07, 2003 17:33author by RedButterfly Report this post to the editors

Sisters and Brothers of N. Ireland

Forgive our Stupid Country, we are obsessed with fashion whores, plastic surgery, McDonalds, consumerism and the fear of more "terrorist attacks".

I'm so sorry that Resident Bush is bombarding your countryside with his propoganda and his imbecile speeches.
In our country, when he addresses the people, his monkey mug is all over the tv, on every friggin channel. Every dumb ass police officer lives by his words, as does every gullible knuckle walker in New York. His verbal vomit covers our country and what is the saddest thing, is that he didn't win the Presidential elections.
Thousands of African-American Florida residents were kept, illegaly from voting- the defining locale for victory.
I'm sorry, for the submissiveness and stupidity of our country. What else do you expect from a country that butchers education and healthcare. Making Americans chase the almighty dollar by any depraving means necessary to afford medicine, the chance to attend classes and pay higer taxes- all of these beacuse of the war and the lifestyle of the wealthy.
We are sorry for not revolting and preventing the tyranny of this evil dumbass.
On behalf of the intelligent people of New York City and the USA... we are so sorry, that you have to deal with this walking trash receptacle in your country.
Sincerely
An sincere apollogetic Irish-American

many americans buy calanders with a wall photographed very clearly.
they think
"oh there you go that is where paratroopers illegally fired on unarmed civil rights protesters using illegal bullets, and that wall has remained for ever and ever, and perhaps when kids in other cities paint the walls of their government buildings and use their dustbin lids to make nightly noise they had found something worth remembering and honouring in that wall."

but Bush knows nothing of that wall.

well, these two Americans have laid it out pretty well.

you are NOT going to get majortiy opposition against this barbarism in America.

And as someone said in one of our pointless elections: ITS THE ECONOMY, STUPID!

There is a vast middle class here that thinks its OK to have Third World people die for their "standard of living".

And the only answer is economic: BOYCOTT THE BASTARDS.

The strongest moves in this area may come from the Third World, but Ireland can play its part.

I don't feel the need to appologize since the pre-fascists have this country so locked down there isn't much we can do about it.

My thought of late is this: If a normally apathetic, relative pacifist such as myself can be driven to a state of near rage, I imagine there's an army of islamists out there ready to become martyrs.

The whole world is in turmoil over the plans of about a dozen men who live within a mile of the white house. Worse still is that because they don't question what's coming from their TV's, most of the U.S. seems to think invading Iraq is in their best interest.

If I was a praying man, I'd do little else.
