Just to let you all know... About 250 people showed up last night for the Portland, Oregon screening of Berlusconi's Mousetrap. Half an hour beforehand there was a queue outside the theatre, and about 60 people were turned away after the cinema owners said they couldnt have any more people standing at the back due to fire regulations. There was a massive round of applause at the end, and many people said to pass on best wishes and thanks to all at IMC Ireland who were involved in the making of the film. Check out the Portland IMC site at http://portland.indymedia.org Lots of antiwar stuff happening here at the moment. Click on the Related Link to see a report about the screening and people's comments. Fox News (?) also showed up at the screening. |
