category national | miscellaneous | news report author Wednesday March 19, 2003 15:43author by ff gombeen Report this post to the editors

even Turkey is less corrupt and spineless than bertie and his gang of fianna fail traitors, is it too much to expect a little bit of courage and dignity such as showed by French and German statesmen?

the fianna fail gombeens are postponing their meeting to collaborate with the babykillers passing through shannon because of fog in Dublin airport preventing the ministers from returning.

Today FF back benchers are saying.....
1. If we don't allow them (US) to use Shannon then it will prolong this war now who wants that!

2. The economic risk is far too high we must let them use Shannon

3. On the legality of the use of Shannon there was a Supreme Court ruling some time back that gives the government the right to choose how Shannon Airport can be used

These are just some of the lies that these guys are spreading to their constituents

An RTE person told me that they spoke to many backbenchers and although they have reservations against the use of Shannon they would not go against the party whip!
