The regime fears her eloquent anti-Imperial voice, her integrity. She speaks truth to power with such conviction that her presence would make the warmongering, violent Administration uncomfortable.

Apologies to Bernadette Devlin from the US.

We are on very shakey ground here.
Please forward this to Bernadette Devlin and her Daughter Diedre.

Please forward this to Bernadette Devlin and her Daughter Diedre.

As a US citizen I know I speak for a very large numer of Americans over the issue of Bernadette being returned to Ireland.

There are issues in the US that even the American people are not aware of. We are behind a weird kind of TV ignorance curtain that makes communication difficult amongst ourselves, an what's happening between us and the rest of the world is more than frightening right now.

There is an atmosphere of fear here that is worse than usual and people are closing there doors and windows tighter than ever.. massive paranoia and fear of deeper repression.

There is a movement here growing, and the general feelings among us is by the time people in large enough numbers figure out what's happening it will be too late and there won't be a legal leg to stand on.

Our Constitution is in tatters and the Bill of Rights was dumped quite a while ago.

God Bless you and let's stay in one another's thoughts and hearts.

Sincerely,

Robert Zajac
