Eoin Dubsky on 'The Midnight Court'

Must do better Eoin. Did any of the readers of Indymedia see the Midnight Court the other night? I saw it and was delighted to see the opinions of Eoin Dubsky shown up for how morally shallow they really are. Assuming you could hear anyone through the din of six people talking at once, it was nice to hear some sense on RTE television. Of particular note was the *Iraqi* on the panel who questioned Dubsky on why he has never protested over the murder and terror by Saddam Hussein against his own people. It was this more than anything that displayed the gut wrenching narrow-mindedness of Eoin Dubsky and his ilk. It was an eye opener for anyone viewing the program. It quickly became pretty obvious that Dubsky (and others such as Richard Boyd-Barrett) care little about the Iraqi people - all they want is an outlet to promote their disgusting Marxist, anti-American ideas. If they spent as much effort protesting against Al Qaeda or Saddam Hussein as they did against the liberal *democracies* of the USA, Ireland, UK, France, Spain, etc, they might garner some more credibilty. But as it stands, they represent nobody apart from a few blathering idiots in crusty clothing (who ironically come from the more affluent areas of Dublin). |
