The BBC has run a story claiming UK spring temperatures are up 1.8?C. It's alarmist agitprop straight from a Green Blob press release and it doesn't check out when you look at the facts, says Chris Morrison.

The Javaad Alipoor Company is a theatre company with a woke "nine-point manifesto that drives everything we do". Inevitably, the Arts Council is stuffing it with taxpayers' cash. Why do we fund this crap?

Garda Commissioner in Shannon NOW

category national | miscellaneous | news report author Monday February 03, 2003 14:36author by Paul Report this post to the editors

It has been just reported on RTE Radio that the Garda Commissioner Pat Byrne is currently in Shannon Garda speaking to his senior officers. Unfortunately I'm 120 miles away, but I'd urge anyone nearer to go down now and put a picket on the station.

Is an US plane worth more than the lives of Limerick people? Could be a slogan for placards.

author by iosaf jedi of the many options.publication date Mon Feb 03, 2003 14:48author address author phone Report this post to the editors

could it be "green party neutrality" heads?
could it be "hardline republican" heads?
could it be "hardline catholic worker" heads?
could it be a "US not wanted here" chat?

or maybe it´s tactics.
Great at the tactics are the senior officers of the Gardaí aren´t they?
maybe they´ll work with the journalists and others to do their best to stop this once and for all but it spreads.
How would it spread?
oh well lots of different types of people would start having a go.
Just like the "hardline (previously "sidelined") republicans" in the USA warned last week.
oh yes.
people jumping on the bandwagon.
well it´s all right to speak about "non violent direct action" which is why Labour called for it, remember?
non-violent direct action.
Well now the ideologues of the "established" (non "sidelined") parties are trying with the journalists to figure out what is meant by "non-violent direct action".
what are they on about?
Isn´t hitting a plane violent?
well does hitting a plane cause the plane any cause to fear for it´s life?
no planes don´t have feelings.
you can bash them all you like and you won´t get a squeeky pip out of them.
so can yoube violent to a plane?
seems not.
can you be direct with a plane?
oh yes.
now what is this effin nonviolent direct action all about?
well it is different to violent direct action.
And we think it works better most of the time.
And who has stolen my email account? Who has thought it grown up and clever to lock me out of my email account?

Well Gardaí it looks like it´s spreading.
but you often get that with irritation.
it spreads.

next thing you know you have a rash.

yeah, planes dont have feelings peaceactivist and all you other silly people out there. A plane is a hunk of metal. You cannot hurt it.
It however, in the wrong hands, can hurt many people.
So smashysmashy fro
m the famous five and no one gets hurt but maybe someone can be saved and if not that at least the Bigbad US Army is down a few bucks that could've been spent on weapons.

Hey iosaf someone stole ur account bad buzz how they do that? Anyways theres an email for u if u can get to it.

This distortion of priorties and allocation of resources of _our_ country to the service of the American military is exactly the carry on we can expect if we are further compromised by our association with the illegal military presence in our country.

Next thing you know it'll be like the newly re-occupied Subic Naval Base in the Phillipines ( a hot-bed of child prostitution to service the Americans http://law.rikkyo.ac.jp/npa/ng203.htm) or like the American bases at Okinawa (where servicemen get to rape little girls and are not handed over to local authorities) or like South Korea where children can be crushed by Armored Personel Carriers.

Ah shure, it's great for the oul' economy, shure what would we do without it at all.
