The rights that we achieved that are 'enshrined' in the constitution were fought for, they were not won by putting text into a document.
So, Greens and Labour, what will you do if tomorrow Dáil Éireann votes for war against Iraq? What if the UN back the war fully? would you have a problem then?
The war is a war for oil, its about capitalism, it's hard economics. The answer is to call for working people to overthrow the system that oppresses them and to call for an end to all capitalist wars.
