RTE SUPPORT THE WAR & MURDER

category national | miscellaneous | news report author Tuesday January 14, 2003 15:51author by Limerick Lady Report this post to the editors

RTE refuse to have Tim Hourigan live on Primetime tonight. Tim's views to be pre recorded from studio in Limerick.

It has just been announced that RTE will pre record Tim Hourigan in a studio in Limerick at 8:30pm and then have Gay Mitchell & Brian Cowen discuss his viewpoints on air at 9:30pm. The reasons they cite are technical - something could go wrong if Tim was live on air from Limerick. You bet that something could have gone wrong! The truth could have come out! Its a disgrace. They could have asked him to come up to Dublin. Hey they could even get him on a plane from - wait for it - Shannon at this short notice. If you have the chance ring RTE and let them know.

This is blatent bias on the part of RTE in support of Brian Cowan and the Irish State. The first obvious evidence of this was on Fridays late late show when Pat Kenny refused to introduce Tim Hourigan, Mary Kelly, Conor Cregan or any of the Peace Camp people to the nation on the late late show.

What a disaster. Some day!!!
