news report
Thursday December 19, 2002 17:48 by Mr Soya Bean Man
List removed from Iraq's dossier by UN - because they're on it! The following was printed by those industrious Germans in the Taz, a lefty, pain-in-the arse paper. It is Saddam’s list of companies that have supplied Iraq with weapons technology since the mid-seventies, many since the UN embargo. It is the list that was reported yesterday on Channel 4 news to have been exorcised from Saddam’s dossier by the UN. You’ll probably hear a lot more about the cuts they make to the dossier before releasing it over the next few days. The journo who compiled the list has been doing this kind of thing for years. Unfortunately they’ve forgotten to include WHEN these companies last traded with Iraq but there you go. I’ve forgotten all my German but here’s the key.
