'Eco-anxiety' affects 78% of children under 12, a crisis that teachers say they are unable to cope with, new polling by Greenpeace has found. The solution? More ruthless exposure of children to alarmist material.

Hackers Against Corruption – Irish Government & Corrupt Business Be Warned

category national | miscellaneous | news report author Monday December 02, 2002 02:33author by Zero Tolerance - Hackers Against Corruptionauthor email not.givern.for at security dot reasons dot ie Report this post to the editors

Hackers Against Corruption (HAC) in response to the Irish Governments policy of corruption and fraud and to the continuing law breaking of several major Irish companies and their foreign co-conspirators, herby announce an all out war on these organizations.

As part of this war, all computer installations of the organizations which HAC believe fall under the above, will be targeted and any or all information gathered will be placed in the public domain.

HAC would like to point out that this is not a war in the conventional sense. It will and shall not threaten any person’s life nor can it lead to physical harm or injury. However it is hoped that HAC will cause the significant loss of money to companies who have continued to exploit the trusted position the Irish nation have given them.

HAC are a team of dedicated computer and network specialists determined to use the power of the internet and the computer to bring about an end to corruption in Ireland.

Signed on behalf of the HAC Combatant Council

Let me see, you’re annoyed with them breaking the law? And your solution to this is to also break the law? The word hypocrisy springs to mind.

Of course just like them you know better. And maybe if you succeed you'll make them lose money and maybe help a few Irish people lose their jobs.

I suppose those people are just collateral damage in your sad little self-righteous ego trip.

Surely you can come up with something more imaginative than this tried and failed method of combatting corruption.

I am not too sure if these guys are pathetic to be quite honest. Really I think the big companies will use any excuse (E.G. Blame it all on Sept 11) to ditch a few employees. What I would be more interested in, is the type of information these guys may get their hands on. I think that may be more interesting.

Just my 2 cents.

Isn't that right SEHB?

Remember the hacker crackdown - and remember that activist groups in other countries are being banned because they conducted 'video surveillance of the Police'

belgium i think it was last two weeks or so. The group was campaigning against racism of all things

What kind of half baked wannabe hacker can't set up a secure untraceable e-mail?

...comical, this is bull, why oh why would any "intelligent" hacker post to a public forum like indymedia about such activities?

answer: there pulling your leg, this is just some twit with nothing better to do... get off the internet, stop playing with telnet and go to bed!

There is no such thing as a secure untraceable mail. It is possible to compromise a host on the
route to an email server and then sniff the contents of all mail sent to that server but why would someone bother ? So they could read your
crap fan mail ?
