Paul what'isname, secretary of state is hoping to introduce water charges in Northern Ireland. Water charges are to be introduced into Northern ireland to pay for BRITS WAR IN IRAQ. we in northern ireland have not had to pay water charges, why should we now, why should we have to finance the brit military machine. I suggest Paul what'isface takes money out of the security budget to pay for the running of our water services, instead of making us pay water rates. we have never had to pay water charges, why should we start now, JUST BECOS THE BRIT GOVERNMENT IS WASTING OUR TAXES ON pointless WARS and MILITARY and security forces. YOU KNOW WHERE YOU CAN SHOVE YUR WATER RATES, TONY |

It will not be allowed to happen in northern ireland. The brit government did not dare introduce the poll here, i think we can safely say they will have a lot of trouble introducing water rates in belfast. lets see em try to.

We who live in Northern Ireland, already have to pay 26% more for our electricity than the rest of the UK and ireland. Our groceries and food also cost alot more in Northern Ireland. Bread costs just 39p in england, yet we still have to pay 65p for the same loaf here in Belfast. The citizens of Northern ireland are already paying over the odds for our basic food staples and electricity. Charges for these basic amenities are already hiked up over 20% more than the average price they pay in the mainland and in the South of Ireland. why should we now be robbed of more money.
Aye, I agree and not only that but the fire fighters, nurses, paramedics, teachers, all of us you are still having low wages. Tony Blair gave himself a 75% pay raise when he became PM. 40% is not greed ( from £6.50 to £8.50, where's the big deal).
We will make sure tony Blair will be fucked and very soon. We won't go to war. But we will win the class war.
Take home wages for Workers in Northern Ireland are 22% less than wages in UK and ireland, but in northern ireland, our electricity and basic food staples cost 30% more than electricity in the UK and ireland. There is widescale Fuel poverty in parts of rural and urban areas in northern ireland, with many pensioners, single parents and JSA claimants having to choose between buying fuel to keep warm or buying enough food for basic sustainence. JSA claimants are living on less than £45 pw. If you're living a flat with no central heating, deduct £20 to run electric heaters, that just leaves £25 for food, and other bills. If you're a single parent with 2 kids already in debt at christmas, living on £80 pw, deduct £20 for electric and fuel. that leaves £60 to share between an adult and 2 kids, for food, clothing, and kids leisure expenses/activities/school bills. If you've got wee kids in nappies, deduct £40(£20 for electric + fuel, £20 for nappies) leaving £40 to share between an adult and 2 kids, to cover food, and bills. If the secretary of state is going to take another £5-£10 off us for water rates, i dont know how, pensioners, single parents, JSA claimants and those on low wages will be able to afford paying these water rates.
