(This has nothing to do with my visceral hatred of the SWP. Just applying the rules.)
"Privatisation: For the MDC, privatisation of public enterprises will be a means of restoring the efficient management and competitiveness of the economy." - Feb 20th, 2002
"MDC’s privatisation strategy encompasses not just parastatal enterprises, but reform of the structures of the civil service. With the objective of achieving a lean and efficient state administration, outsourcing and contract management under MDC is to be an important element in government management policy." - May 9th, 2000.
Yep, that sounds like Marxism to me alright...
Another reason to come along and hear what a socialist on the spot makes of these developments and the struggle generally.
a conference on marxist ideas yeah thats all very well and good but whos behind it? yeah thats right the swp those people who claim to be marxists but ignore all the teachings of great marxist teachers. Go long for a laugh cos the realistic anti-capitalists will be out there doing work not inside discussing about "popular fronts" or "deomcratic fronts" or wotever crap that goes for politics the swp is spouting these days
...here's what everyone had to say about Marxism...
