Anyone see the strange glitch on RTE just before News last Night?

category national | miscellaneous | news report author Saturday October 19, 2002 11:58author by oswalddefenselawyer Report this post to the editors

I didn't but heard Anne Doyle saying there had been results

of computer voting released by accident and that the results should be ignored. It would be interesting to know the inadvertently broadcast result for greater dublin and meath. Wouldn't it? Also what a scene with church on Pot Kennedys TV show. They were in full flight. Just short of throwing off their collars. Their property should be collectivised before business interests find a way of privatising the church ;-) Vote No Vote No Vote No

During Fair City last night a blue banner scrolled across claiming a victory for the "yes" side in South Dublin.

Surely there was no voting until this morning (postal and islands excepted)?

What was that all about? And why did it happen during a PRIME TIME SOAP?

I'd hate to use the phrase 'subliminal suggestion' because subliminal is normally too subtle to see.

But what the hell was it about?

though some of us remember the RTE glitch
in Operation Desertstorm (Bush 1 v. Saddam (traditional army fatigue version of Saddam without body-doubles) when the presenter repeatedly said U.S. forces instead of U.N. forces.
That was back in the days when the Irish media still had a bit of spirit.
Before the "bourgouisification".
=Can I say "bourgouisification" on an open newswire? "bourgouisification".
cool eh! "bourgouisification".
Everyone..."bourgouisification"....
if rigged.."bourgouisification"..we´ve the means to "de-bourgouisify"........the little rascals.

Yes, but you need to spell it right or you have Ray after you.
The rest of the anarchist tossers think spelling right is accepting the leadership of the dictionary
