A couple of things - I encountered a previous incarnation of this site some time ago while looking for information on the history of the Hellfire club. It's references to the Fellowship of Isis are clearly prejudiced to the point of ridiculous as are its associations between paganism and satanism.
However, the site does contain certain grains of, whilst not nessicarily truth, certaintly material bering further investagation - most noticibly the articles on the Shankill Butchers whose methods of murder were the most horriffic and needlessly cruel I have ever heard of (Perpetrators of these crimes have since been freed in the course of the peace process). Such viciousness, though, had long been inherent in loyalist paramilatry organisations - as an example of which I cite the famous mural with the skelatal figure cimbing atop corpses, variants of which can still be seen today.
The Kincora incident, like many in its day was never investigated fully - and should any file in Ireland need to be re-opened it is most certaintly this one.
Overall, however, I fear the site takes selected news stories and fits them quite nicely to make his case. He does not differentiate between Wicca, for example, and satanism.
now this is silly.
Yeats was an initiate of an hermetic order.
Kyteler was simply a cunning murderer.
I remember 1312-1316 Kilkenny and most of Ireland saw many casual travellers one of whom a berber returning from the scottish bruce wars was mistaken for "artison" a demon.
There is child abuse and horror in our world.
The Christian right are scary.
but you have no right to insult members of hermetic orders or wiccan witches.
if you had left your name I would reccomend to the fellowship of Isis to sue you for libel.
Though interestingly the laws against witchcraft were not removed from the statute books in IReland.
I know one your kind attempted to bring a civil action under those laws against a panda bear.
and think about this:
whose windows are you looking through?
EX PROFUNDEM AD LUCEM
basta!
The previous poster says:
"I remember 1312-1316 Kilkenny..."
Must surely be the post senior IMC poster :) Who won the All-Ireland back then, I wonder?
I'd seen that very strange 'Missing Persons' site before. The guy behind writes to loads of politicians and when they don't reply or investigate his mad theories he denounces them as satanists, etc.
The sad thing is that there are desperate people out there who have missing relatives and these people are being exploited by this crap.
Anonymous,
We know who you are, we have taken control of your PC. We have scanned your retinas & taken your fingerprints. your every body measurement is known to us; you suffer from penis envy.
We will raid your house tonight & probe your rectum with a blessed church candle.
Exterminate! Exterminate!
The Bruce war period referred to is popularly known as the "Braveheart" period.
Kyteler was a millionairess type who murdered her husbands and was accused by a newly arrived french bishop in Ireland of various witchcraft offences.
There are only the court records now extant in a type of middle French and late vulgate latin.
The trials both ecclesiastical and civil lasted a while and resulted in the burning to death at the stake of Kyteler´s maid.
The story gets re-hashed over and over but never considered seriously yet within should be much of interest to modern Irish feminists and anti-capitalists.
This "anonymous" is what we call in BCN a "freakie" but he highlights the pain caused by state and ecclesiastical collusion in hiding child abuse and crimes against the person and mothers in Ireland.
Autonomy begins with self.
But all to often for thousands of us Irish that autonomy was first invaded by monsters whose representatives still cling to dubious power.
if you would like more info on either Kyteler or Yeats or such --mail me.
it terrifies people and re-opens memories for countless victims.
Noted.
and the all-ireland was won that period by the confederation of Kilkenny = mighty team even in those days:-)
