High-Res RTS pix required

category national | miscellaneous | news report author Monday September 23, 2002 18:30author by The Slate - The Slateauthor email editor at theslate dot ieauthor phone 6776150 Report this post to the editors

Hello, We're a Dublin based magazine and we're looking for high-res images of the RTS event that went on over the weekend. They'd need to be at least 400k in size, and preferably over 500k. If anybody can help, could they please mail or give us a ring. Thanks

And how much are we talking about here anyways?

Is a free paper which is put together for next to no cash and run on a shoestring.

The Slate was investigated by the Gardaí after the last RTS accusing them of organizing the violent mobs (seriously) at the last RTS.

Furthermore it's current issue is being attacked by the news of world. Personnaly anyone who the news of the world hates can't be that bad.

In short you could do alot worse than helping these guys out.

The Slate makes a nice bit of cash from advertising. If they want pix, make them pay. Or else they ought to give RTS free advert space.

Does Aiden possess shares in the Slate Ltd.?

As blisset pointed out they've given RTS alot of advertising, wrote a bloody excellent piece after the last RTS looking at the media spin and how the police played the aftermath, and came out looking alot better than they should have.

And I'm sure they make loadas a money from the advertising from small irish firms, in fact I hear they've traded in the bicycles for mercs......

Cop on.
