Aswell 7 hrs before he was shot the FBI advised the garda to shot this man. He may b mentally ill but he was a treat to the public and the garda.
If a member of the public was shot by him u'd be the first to say it's the garda fault.

Anyone with a titter of wit knows that the lad could have been starved out or coaxed out quite easily. He asked for a solicitor, which they would not proivde. They would not let him speak to family members. They would not give him cigarettes (increasing his stress and panic). He should have been in hospital anyway - but they would not take him when his mother brought him there a few days before.
