Killing Spree Continues Four Palestinian Laborers Murdered in Hebron, Fifth in Jenin

Killing Spree Continues- Four Palestinian Laborers Gunned Down in Hebron, Fifth in Jenin HEBRON/JENIN (PC): Less than one day after the killing of four Palestinian children and an activist in an Israeli missile strike in the West Bank town of Tubas, the Israeli army gunned down five more Palestinians Sunday.

Israeli troops shot and killed five Palestinians in two separate West Bank attacks early on Sunday, Israeli military and Palestinian security sources said.

Yassin Saudi, 16, the son of a leading Hamas activist in Jenin, was killed this morning by Israeli gunfire, Israel Radio reported.

Palestinian sources said that occupation troops entered Jenin refugee camp in the northern West Bank and shot the 16-year-old boy dead.

In another deadly attack, four Palestinian laborers were killed in an ambush by Israeli troops near the West Bank town of Hebron.

The Israeli army claimed that it â received a warningâ of a plan to infiltrate a Jewish militant outpost (settlement) near the West Bank city of Hebron, Israeli military sources said.

Israeli sources said that the four were shot down in a field near Kiryat Arba. Israeli sources alleged that the four Palestinians were carrying wire cutters and a saw.

But military sources later admitted that the four were carrying tools they used for work. Palestinian sources confirmed that the four were in fact killed in the Palestinian autonomous village of Bani Naim in the West Bank, while on their way to work.

The Israeli narration of the murder of the four laborers changed several times in a few hours. An earlier Israeli claim said that Israeli soldiers had opened fire on â suspect shadowsâ and that a bag containing metal-cutters had been found near the bodies of the victims.

On Saturday, an Israeli helicopter strike killed two children, two teenagers and a Palestinian activist.

A few days earlier, four Palestinians, a mother, her two sons and a relative were blown up by Israeli tank shells when they were sleeping in a tent in an area known as Sheik Ijleen, near the city of Gaza.
