Jump To Comment: 1 2Vaccines operate by stimulating your immune system into action. That approach works great if working with a half decent immune systemand given a good vaccine. But as people get old and infirm, in many cases their immune systems become somewhat run down and knackered and just don't function very well any more. Trying to stimulate those kinds of immune systems with a vaccine is akin to trying to start a knackered old ford escort that has been in the shed for a few years. It's not going to happen. The fact is, vaccines work much better in young and healthy bodies. It's the nature of how they work with the bodies own defences. If those defences are already fucked then you can inject all the vaccines you like but the old ford escort still won't start! So why are we targetting these vaccines at very old and knackered bodies, many of whose immune systems are already fucked(which is presumably why they are the ones dying from flu and covid etcLogically they should be targetted at the young populations to create herd immunity while continuing to cocoon the weak and infirmuntil the virus is no longer spreading.Slight hitch though. It appears they don't yet understand very well whether this virus can still be carried around and spread by healthy people who have antibodies. Making the whole herd immunity exercise quite futile. The whole thing smacks of desperation, over optimism and frankly seems like it is just one big half assed (but hugely profitable!) live experiment (with no indemnity from the predatory vaccine manufacturers)The fact is, SARS-CoV-2 will be with us for quite a while to come I fear. But our older more vulnerable people may not be if we completely trust their health to just this (for profit indemnity free) vaccine and do not continue to socially isolate them from potential disease such as Covid.
